Time to write something original on my blog rather than just copy paste I guess.. So here i go...there was this announcement abt cubicle decoration to be held on saturday... so we started deciding on the topics which could be used.. first just thought about Harry Potter as its the latest craze around.. but friends told that we r not in college now n have eneterd the "Professional" world n should grow up.. ok.. so then someone came up with "Rainbow" as it appears only wen both sun n rain r present.. So discussions n disagreements followed... finally the before the d-day, we started buying materials.. made plans n undid them... started drawing n painting rainbows till late night.. next morning came to office at 7 30... n started cutting the silver paper for rain... time started flying faster than usual.. assigned taks to different ppl.. some blew balloons n stuck the decoraton paper... finished the sun n then clouds n rain..at abt 10 30 half n hr before the time given we almost finished it..then rest remaining was writing some quotations on the board, n then we stuch thermacol balls along the sides of the board.. could hav kept more rain but it dint materialize.. oh yes, we also kept yellow glass paper on the lights to give the sunlight effect... after finishing we jus went around looking at others decorations n waiting for the judges to arrive.. finally after lunch after a long tym they came for judging.. then we went along with the judges to other floors as well to see the masterpieces of others.. it was really a fun day wen no one was working in our floor... at abt 4 30 the winners wer announced n then there was photo sharing... by evening i had forgotten that it was a weekend... we left the decorations as it was thinking that we will remove it after 2 to 3 days.. but to our dismay monday morning office was spic n span... no decorations..! our priced n well payed decorations r in the thrash can... wat a dismay..:( balloons which wer prevented from being burst r not be found now... well... wat to do... fate...! It was overall a good experience to participate in such event n we really enjoyed every bit of it... ofiice should be decorated always....
